Description First Past the Post
First Past the Post is a single player horse racing strategy game in which the player trains and races horses.
The player can have up to sixteen horses in his stable and earns money by winning races, betting on their performance, or buying and selling them. Each race meeting consists of a 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile race in which the player can enter one or two horses. Prior to each race the player may bet on any horse, he is not limited to betting on his own.
At the end of the race, the player sees the trainer's statistics and has the option to buy and sell horses to improve his stable.
The game has many features such as:Multiple race courses of different lengths where the going varies between soft, good and firm.The weights of the horses can be varied.There are other computer trainers to compete against.There is a save game feature.
