Janggun-ui Adeul is based on the Korean film The General's Son (1990). It is set in the 1920s, during the Japanese occupation of Korea, and tells the story of Kim Doohan, a beggar and street punk who discovers that he is the son of a renowned general, and unites the lowest circles of Korean society to fight against Japanese oppression.
The game is a side-scrolling beat-em-up with fairly simple mechanics. Kim Doohan can punch and kick his enemies, or combine these moves with jumps. As in most games of this type, all enemies must be eliminated before the hero can continue. The stages usually culminate in boss battles.

Battletoads in Battlemaniacs is another game in Rare's Battletoads series. There are some bonus levels in between some of the normal ones, where the player can collect extra lives.
Teammates can team up and defeat opponents together in the two co-op modes available. In mode A, players can beat each other, while in mode B, they cannot.
Great Baseball was the first baseball game for the then-new Sega Mark III (Sega Master System) in Japan and basically a clone of Nintendo's own baseball game for the NESFamicom. The field is seen from a top-down view during the batting and pitching scenes. Once the batter successfully hits the ball, the screen changes to a more zoomed-in view, during which players control fielders and runners.
Players can choose between a 1-player game against the CPU or a 2-player game. They have the option of choosing a team from a pool of six unlicensed teams. The third and final mode is a special home run contest. In this mode, players compete to hit as many home runs as possible in a given number of attempts.
All the big league plays are brought to this diamond. So pitch, hit and steal bases like the pros. play ball!
Play Great Baseball with another player or against the CPU. Next, choose to play with or against different teams such as New York, Toronto, Milwaukee, Chicago, Seattle, Boston and many others. Finally, select your pitcher and his specialty and stamina, and play.
Buggy Run is a game that allows players to race buggies in a championship on 15 possible tracks (plus 4 in 2-player mode), each earning money that can be used to upgrade the buggy. There are 4 different modes that can be played in the single player mode which includes Race, Vs Com, Freerun, and Battle.
In the main mode, Race, the player receives an initial $20,000 that can be used to upgrade the buggy. The upgradeable features of the buggy are the tires (grip), engine (speed), suspension (limits bounce), steering (cornering), and transmission (performance). All upgrades cost $10,000 for level 2, $30,000 for level 3 and $50,000 for level 4, although the player does not need to get them in order. There are also special upgrades to purchase which include $5000 for a mine (drops behind and if another car hits then it blows up until the restart), $5000 for Nitoro (gives the players car a short speed boost), and $10,000 for extra special item capacity (starts with 2 slots to a maximum of 6). Special items must be used in the order they are placed in the slots.
Within the race, the player will compete with 4 other cars in a race to the checkered flag on an isometric scrolling track. Some of the hazards of the track are bumps and jumps, unevenness, uneven road and mud. Special power-ups appear on the track that are red or white in color and extra money, plus a random that selects between the two. The prize money for winning is $30,000, 2nd gets $20,000, 3rd $10,000 and the last $5,000 to spend on upgrades and power-ups between races. There are 3 stages of races: beginner, intermediate and expert, with 5 races each. The player must qualify for the next stage or else it is game over.
In Vs Com the player faces the computer one on one on any track of the player's choice. All buggy upgrades for the player and the computer are made by assigning a set number of points to various upgrades. All item slots can be used for nitoro or mine.
Freerun is a time trial where the player races alone without upgrades on any track against the clock.
Battle mode is where the player chooses 3 computer players to battle in a round arena with the goal of taking down opponents, with the last player in the arena winning.
There is also a two-player mode that includes Race, 1P vs 2P and Battle.
In 2P Race there is $30,000 for both players to upgrade their cars before placing them on a track with a fixed aerial view where they play against two computer opponents. There are 4 different tracks to choose from.
1P vs 2P is just a fight between the two players on one of 4 tracks, each with 4 different themes. Buggy upgrades are done by assigning a certain number of points.
The battle is the same as single player, but with 2 players and 2 computers.
In Poseidon Wars 3-D, you have just joined the navy as a cadet and must work your way up to admiral. To do this, you must take to the sea with a submarine and destroy several enemy targets. Once you have defeated each enemy target, the mission will be completed and, by completing some of them, your rank will increase. However, before defeating each target, you must also destroy enemy planes, helicopters and submarines that will launch missiles or rockets at you. If you are hit by any of them, the submarine will suffer damage, but you will be able to shoot down any of the missiles or rockets. You will have to keep an eye on the built-in radar and sonar to know where the enemies will attack next. Your fuel is limited, and can be increased by destroying certain enemies. The game ends when your submarine is destroyed or you run out of fuel.
Titled as the official game of UEFA 1992, this game is a top-down arcade soccer game in which the player competes against the best European soccer teams to become the champion of Europe.
The game includes 4 different game modes, including goalkeeper, penalty practice or UEFA tournament. You can choose from 34 different teams to play with. Before starting a match you can select and change many pre-match options in the main menu. For example, wind speed, weather or time per half. There are 8 referees available, each with individual behavior.
The game is controlled with 2 buttons and the 8-way D-Pad.
Comical Machine Gun Joe is a simple arcade-style shoot'em up. You control a gunman named Joe on a single static screen and have to shoot bad guys until a boss appears. Once the boss is shot, the game will switch to another screen.
In addition to shooting, Joe can also jump very high, which is often necessary to reach enemies in higher places. Occasionally a spider will appear, which for some reason reflects both your shots and those of your enemies. Pigs also frequently appear, which give away items such as a smart bomb when you shoot them. Another strange feature is that enemies hit will shrink and move away towards the bottom edge of the screen. If they come into contact with Joe, they cling to him. This slows him down and limits his jumping ability, but the enemies will also serve as a bulletproof shield for him.
Like many early arcade games, the game has no ending. After several screens, the game restarts at the first location.
