Released by SEGA in 1998, Wachenröder is a lesser known gem in the SEGA Saturn library. Developed by Telenet Japan, this role-playing game combines elements of strategy, time travel, and steampunk aesthetics to create a unique and immersive gaming experience.

In Wachenröder, players take on the role of a young man named Rocket who must travel through time and space to save his beloved city from destruction. The game is set in a world where technology has advanced through the use of magical crystals, known as "sorceria". However, these crystals are being sought after by an evil organization, and it's up to Rocket to stop their plans while also facing his own personal demons.

One of the most striking aspects of Wachenröder is its stunning graphics. The game features beautifully hand-drawn environments and detailed character designs that bring the steampunk world to life.
