Gloriana. is a management game set in the year 1550 AD, when Elizabeth becomes Queen of England.
The player takes on the role of the owner of a small trading company with the goal of gaining wealth and influence, through international trade in goods and the accumulation of luxury goods, until he achieves sufficient status to be granted the position of advisor to the Queen. The player has until the year 1588 to achieve this esteemed position, at which time the Spanish Armada attacks England and the game ends.
